Auxiliary Scholarship Program

Scholarships for Healthcare Education

Blake Medical Center Auxiliary Inc., awards scholarships to students who are pursuing a career in the field of medicine. These scholarships are awarded once an academic year. The number and amount of awards is based on the yearly budget set by the Executive Board of the Auxiliary.

How Can You Apply?

Scholarship applications become available in December. The application deadline is February 15, 2010. Please check the guidelines for full details on eligibility and how to apply.

Please Note:
Students applying for our scholarships must be currently enrolled in or accepted in a post secondary medical or medically related program at an accredited school, college or university. The LPN, EMT, and Paramedic programs at MTI are acceptable.

Important Dates

February 15, 2010	Deadline for New Applicants and those reapplying for 2010 - 2011 academic year.
March 10, 2010	Interviews, 9:00 -11:30 a.m. (New Applicants Only)
March 26, 2010	Interviews, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. (New Applicants Only)

April 2010	Notification of Scholarship Awards via mail.
July 2010	Checks will be disbursed to the school, college, or university recipients will be attending. The amount awarded will be deposited in each student’s account.
